girl theories

I hate to admit it but it's true... I'm watching The Hills. To protect my dignity I'm on the computer to appear disinterested. When in fact I'm writing about it and I'd like to take some time to make some observations:

Serious observations...

1. The higher pitched a girl talks to you, the less sincere she is.
example: "Heeeeeeyy! How aaaaarrre youuu? I haven't seen you in foreeeeever."
Ya no she doesn't care... and girls, stop talking this way.

Observations that a girl might learn from The Hills...

1. Eyeliner is the key to seduction. The more the better.

2. When you talk to people, don't look them in the eyes. Everywhere but the eyes.

3. If you really want to sound smaaarrt, you need to streeeetch the last syllable of every woooorrrd that you saaaaay.

4. Don't be like me and watch The Hills, look away!

thrifty and ambitious

Before I say anything I must tell the world about my pants. This very moment I am wearing a pair of pants that I swear are a gift from the gods. It's like wearing UGGs on my legs... bangarang. Today Emily and I went on a little purchasing misson and I'd like to report the mission a success... I saved more than I paid. booyah!!I'd like to thank Gap for always being there for me. No matter if I'm happy, sad, or just bored, Gap has delievered every single time. Why have other stores not caught onto this yet?

Now for the big news... after over years and years of delay and avoidance I'm finally going to face my fear. Emily and I are going to run the Park City marathon on August 21. I hate running and I'm terrible. Sophomore year of high I did cross country as a first attempt to rid myself if this problem but I think I ditched practice more than I went.

But times have changed. I can do this! Let the training begin!

this could have the potential of being an opening pandora's box kind of experience

I don't know what I'm getting myself into. Sometimes I think I was supposed to have two brains. One for normal stuff like school and basic motor and cognitive skills, and the other for... who knows what. Hence the blog. I thought that maybe if I write all the weird stuff that happens in my head, I'll get better at doing the normal stuff. Ask me in a couple months and we'll see where I am... either on the brink of some amazing breakthrough or a mental institution.
Enjoy!
